My favorite childhood book....
I don’t remember a specific book that I
favorited as a young child or even as a teen
but I did have a favorite author.
I was a huge R. L. Stine fan but not of the Goose Bumps series, FEAR STREET. I could devour a series. In fact I still have some today.
If I had to choose from my younger childhood I would choose Shel Silverstein’s Where the Sidewalk Ends and A Light in the Attic.
Writing this post I realized I’ve only introduced my children to one book from Silverstein, The Giving Tree (Baby J and I have read many times). Perhaps I’ll order A Light in the Attic and Where the Sidewalk Ends.
