Sensory Story Time
Jarrett and I have been visiting our local library lately. Henrico County Libraries host a variety of activities and events at each library branch. Sensory story time has become our favorite weekly activity.
Each session is fun filled and interactive. The narrator or host is enthusiastic and patient. Each Tuesday morning Jarrett excitedly wakes, gets dressed and has his breakfast with a bouncing knee and a bundle of anticipation. We usually arrive at the library 30-45 minutes early to allow time to return books and/ or play in the designated play area within the children's library department. He eagerly cleans up the toys he plays with when its time to go to the Storytime room.
